A social media post recently went viral for creating an elaborate family-tree-style connection involving Kunal Kemmu, Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The meme eventually describes Kunal through a deliberately confusing chain of familial relationships, turning the interconnected Bollywood families into the punchline.
The joke has also brought renewed attention to Kunal’s early acting career, particularly his appearance in the 1998 film Zakhm.

At the same time, he acknowledged that social media can also be used to spread negativity and hate.

“We are also thankful and grateful that we are relevant and people are interested in talking about us,” he added.
Kunal joked that the real concern for a public figure would be reaching a point where nobody was discussing or showing interest in them.
