South Delhi-based content creator Yukta Sethi recently sparked discussion online after sharing a detailed breakdown of her monthly expenses for February. In a video posted on social media, Sethi revealed that her total spending for the month crossed ₹4 lakh, with the majority of the amount directed toward investments.
The creator explained that she has two primary sources of income. According to her LinkedIn profile, she holds a degree in Finance and Marketing and works as an associate at an education consulting firm, while content creation serves as an additional income stream.
Travel and Shopping Expenses
Sethi shared that her travel expenses for February were around ₹21,000. She noted that the amount was relatively low considering she travelled to Vietnam, Mumbai and Alibaug during the month.
She explained that the cost remained limited because her parents covered most of the expenses for the Vietnam trip.

A large portion of her monthly spending was directed toward investments. Sethi revealed that she invested approximately ₹2.8 lakh during February.
In a previous video, she had mentioned that her investment portfolio includes instruments such as mutual funds and fixed deposits, reflecting a structured approach to managing her finances.
Dining, Coffee and Other Monthly Costs
Apart from investments and travel, Sethi outlined several smaller monthly expenses.
She spent about ₹17,000 on dining out and nearly ₹3,000 on coffee during February. According to her, the coffee spending was lower than usual because she was travelling frequently during the month.

When all the expenses were added together, Sethi said her total spending for February reached ₹4,08,131.
She also pointed out that she currently lives with her parents, which means she does not have to pay rent — a factor that significantly affects her overall monthly budget.
