In a recent episode of Too Much with Twinkle and Kajol, featuring Vicky Kaushal alongside Kriti Sanon, the actor shared a memorable anecdote about meeting Katrina Kaif for the very first time. Surprisingly, he revealed that comedian and actor Sunil Grover played the unexpected matchmaker.

Vicky reflected on the moment, saying he met Katrina during an award show he was hosting. Katrina was one of the star guests, and the two even performed “Chikni Chameli” together on stage.
He added that after the performance, Sunil Grover—who had worked with Katrina in Bharat—introduced them backstage.

When Twinkle Khanna teased him that both he and Katrina were “big stars” back then, Vicky responded humbly:
“She is a superstar — a much bigger one. She always has been and always will be.”
