Actor Anupria Goenka is set to attend the Cannes Film Festival 2026 to promote her upcoming independent film Bombay Stories, which will be showcased in the market section of the international event.
Directed by filmmaker Rahhat Shah Kazmi, the film is inspired by Hatak, one of the well-known short stories written by celebrated Urdu author Saadat Hasan Manto. The project presents a socially driven narrative centered on the life and emotional struggles of a woman navigating societal judgment and personal identity.
The film stars Anupria Goenka in the lead role alongside Mouni Roy and Sushmita Singh in important roles.
