Congress MP Shashi Tharoor recently took to social media to share his thoughts on Aryan Khan’s Netflix directorial debut, The Bads of Bollywood, and he couldn’t stop praising it. The politician, known for his eloquent reviews and refined taste, called the series “absolute OTT gold” and even shared a personal message for Shah Rukh Khan, saying, “You must be so proud!”

Recovering from a cold and cough over the weekend, Tharoor decided to relax with a Netflix binge, following a recommendation from his sister Smita Tharoor. That’s when he discovered Aryan Khan’s much-discussed satirical series The Bads of Bollywood — directed by Aryan and produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment banner.
On X (formerly Twitter), Tharoor wrote that the show may take a bit of time to grow on the viewer but ultimately leaves them “irresistibly hooked.” He added, “It’s one of the best things I have ever treated myself to — absolute OTT gold!”
“Sharp Writing, Fearless Direction, and Genius Satire”
Sharing a detailed review, Tharoor applauded Aryan Khan’s direction, writing:
