Vikram Singh Chauhan on Pooja Meri Jaan: ‘It Was a Challenging Role’

Actor Vikram Singh Chauhan is continuing to explore different sides of his craft with projects across OTT and varied genres. After appearing in shows and series such as Baarish, Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, Raat Jawaan Hai and Sena: Guardians of the Nation, the actor is now set to appear in ** Pooja Meri Jaan**.

The upcoming film gives Chauhan another opportunity to step into a character driven by complex emotions and circumstances. Speaking about the project, the actor described the role as both interesting and challenging.

Chauhan said that the character attracted him because of the emotional range involved and the way his journey changes throughout the story.

“Pooja Meri Jaan was an interesting film for me because of the kind of character I got to play. There are a lot of emotions involved, and the character goes through different situations that slowly change the way you look at him.”

For the actor, the role also offered an opportunity to move away from characters he had previously portrayed. He said he enjoyed exploring the different stages of the character’s journey and understanding how his individual story connects with the larger narrative.

“I enjoyed working on those parts because they gave me a chance to do something different from what I have done before. It was also interesting to see how the character fits into the larger story and how his journey develops as the film moves forward.”

Pooja Meri Jaan Explores Rejection and Relationships

Pooja Meri Jaan explores themes including relationships, rejection and the emotional consequences of situations that do not unfold as expected.

Rather than approaching rejection from a single perspective, the film examines how difficult experiences can influence the way people perceive themselves and interact with others.

Chauhan said this aspect of the story particularly interested him because it allowed him to examine the motivations behind his character’s actions.

“What I found interesting about the film was the way it deals with rejection and the impact it can have on people. The story does not look at these emotions in just one way, and that made it more engaging for me.”

The actor added that he spent time trying to understand the character’s motivations before approaching the role.

“While working on the film, I tried to understand where my character was coming from and what was driving his actions. It was a challenging role in some ways, but I really enjoyed the process.”

From Baarish to Sena: Guardians of the Nation

Chauhan has built a varied screen career by moving between different genres and character types.

He gained recognition through projects such as ** Baarish** and later appeared in ** Rudra: The Edge of Darkness**, expanding his work across streaming dramas and crime-oriented narratives.

In ** Raat Jawaan Hai**, he explored a comparatively lighter and more relatable character, while ** Sena: Guardians of the Nation** saw him portray an Army officer.
