The couple, who tied the knot on February 26 in Udaipur in the presence of close friends and family, have been immersed in post-wedding rituals and celebrations. Amid their packed schedule, they carved out time to personally interact with admirers — and even served them food.
First Public Appearance After Wedding
Tuesday’s Hyderabad gathering marked Rashmika and Vijay’s first public interaction since their wedding. The venue was decorated with floral arrangements, and a welcome board reading “Welcome to our extended family. With love, #VIROSH” greeted attendees — a nod to the affectionate nickname fans use for the couple.
As they entered the venue, rose petals showered over them. The duo warmly greeted fans, signed autographs, shook hands and shared hugs, creating an intimate and celebratory atmosphere.

Following their wedding, the couple visited Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams on March 1 to seek blessings. They distributed sweets at the temple and sent sweets to fans across various cities.
On March 2, they travelled to Vijay’s native village Thummanpeta in Telangana, where they performed the traditional Satyanarayana Vratam puja and a Griha Pravesh ceremony at their new home.
During the visit, Vijay also announced a scholarship scheme for students in Classes 9 and 10 studying in local government schools.
