Lokesh Kanagaraj’s much-awaited appearance as a lead actor has finally reached cinemas. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, DC registered an estimated opening-day India net collection of ₹4.10 crore, according to Sacnilk estimates cited in the available box-office data.
The film was screened across 3,504 shows on its opening day. Its estimated India gross stood at approximately ₹4.70 crore, while the overseas market contributed another ₹1 crore.
As a result, DC ended Day 1 with an estimated worldwide gross of ₹5.70 crore.

The Telugu version contributed an estimated ₹1.25 crore to the film’s India net collection and recorded an overall occupancy of 30.80%.
