Bollywood actor Preity Zinta has sold an apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill area in Bandra for ₹18.5 crore, according to property registration records reviewed by CRE Matrix.
The transaction marks the actress’ second property sale within four months and comes after the redevelopment of her previous residential building.
Details of the Latest Property Deal
Documents show that the apartment sold in the latest deal measures about 1,770 square feet and is located on the 11th floor of the Rustomjee Parishram building in Bandra.
The property sale was officially registered on March 2, 2026. According to the documents, the buyers are Priya Nagar and Rajeev Nagar, both US citizens of Indian origin.
The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of approximately ₹1.11 crore along with a registration fee of ₹30,000.
Apartment Allotted After Redevelopment
The apartment had been allotted to Zinta in April 2025 after the redevelopment of the original residential building where she previously owned property.
As per information from CRE Matrix, the redevelopment was carried out under an agreement between the housing society and developer Keystone Realtors (Rustomjee).
Under this arrangement, Zinta received the flat as Permanent Alternate Accommodation, a common practice during redevelopment projects in Mumbai. The agreement formalising the allotment was executed on October 23, 2023.
Second Property Sale in Recent Months
This sale follows another transaction involving the actress in November 2025.
Property records show that Zinta had sold a 1,474-square-foot apartment on the same floor of the building for more than ₹14 crore at the time.
Sources familiar with the matter previously told Hindustan Times Real Estate that the actress might reinvest the proceeds from that sale into a new luxury property in Mumbai’s Bandra area, possibly valued at around ₹100 crore.
Attempts to reach Zinta for comment on the latest transaction did not receive a response at the time of publication.
Celebrity Real Estate Deals in Mumbai
High-value real estate transactions involving Bollywood personalities have frequently made headlines in recent years.
Actors like Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan were also reported to have sold several residential properties in 2025.
According to reports, Akshay Kumar completed property deals exceeding ₹100 crore, while Amitabh Bachchan also sold assets valued at close to ₹100 crore during the same period.
Mumbai’s premium neighbourhoods such as Bandra continue to attract celebrity buyers and sellers due to their high property value and proximity to the film industry.
