The actor’s Instagram Story appeared at a time when Govinda’s recent public appearance with his Roopa co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar has been drawing attention online.
Kashmera did not mention Govinda, Komal Rani or Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja by name. Her post nevertheless prompted some social-media users to connect her comments with the ongoing online conversation surrounding the three.

In her Instagram Story, Kashmera questioned why a “mystery woman” was being glamourised and why people were giving attention to individuals she described as “homebreakers.”
She also criticised the idea of portraying men who leave their wives for younger or ambitious women in a positive or glamorous light.
Her message included hashtags referring to themes such as family, marriage, cheating and wives.
