Television actor and host Jay Bhanushali has finally responded, albeit subtly, to ongoing divorce rumours surrounding him and his wife, actress Mahhi Vij. The couple, once admired for their strong bond and chemistry, has faced speculation about their relationship for over a year.
On October 30, 2025, Jay took to Instagram to share Mahhi’s upcoming television project teaser. Mahhi is all set to make her much-awaited comeback after nearly a decade with the new show Seher Hone Ko Hai, where she portrays a determined Muslim mother fighting for her daughter’s rights.
Sharing the teaser, Jay wrote:

Reports about the couple’s alleged split began earlier this year when Jay and Mahhi stopped appearing together in social media posts and family vlogs. Mahhi’s recent move to a new home in Mumbai without Jay’s visible presence further fueled speculation.
When a media outlet recently claimed that the couple had divorced, Mahhi strongly denied the report, commenting, “Don’t post false narratives. I will take legal action against this.” Her firm response was seen as a clear attempt to stop misinformation while maintaining her privacy.
