A Delhi-based woman has shared how her monthly income changed dramatically after moving from a private-sector job to government employment and taking up content creation as a side hustle.
Mansi recently posted a video on Instagram detailing her earnings for August. According to her post, she earned a total of Rs 1.56 lakh during the month through her full-time government job and paid brand collaborations on social media.
Mansi Earned Rs 90,000 From Government Job
Mansi revealed that Rs 90,000 of her August earnings came from her full-time government job. She has not publicly disclosed the exact nature of her government position.
She said the government salary marked a substantial change from what she earned earlier in her career. While working in the private sector, Mansi said she took home around Rs 22,000 per month despite handling what she described as a heavy workload.

Content Creation Added Another Rs 66,000
Alongside her job, Mansi has built a part-time career as a content creator. She said this brought in an additional Rs 66,000 during August.
The creator revealed that she collaborated with five brands during the month, including Pears, Plush and Inde Wild. According to her, individual brand deals paid between Rs 9,000 and Rs 15,000, collectively taking her content-creation income to Rs 66,000.

“I used to work in a private job where I earned ₹22K in hand while handling a huge workload. Looking back, I realise I’ve come a long way, and this is just the beginning,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
She added that she wants to continue working hard and building on her progress.
