According to people familiar with the plans, the ceremony will take place in the third week of February in the Delhi-NCR region and is likely to be attended by prominent names from the worlds of cricket and Bollywood.

Who Is Sophie Shine?

Born in 1990, Sophie Shine is an Irish national and a senior executive in Shikhar Dhawan’s business empire. She currently heads the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, the philanthropic wing of Da One Sports, and in July 2025, she officially assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer of the conglomerate.

Sophie holds a degree in Marketing and Management from the Limerick Institute of Technology and completed her schooling at Castleroy College in Ireland. Her corporate journey includes senior leadership roles, most notably as Second Vice President at Northern Trust Corporation in Abu Dhabi, where she served until March 2025.
