The Traitors Season 2: Parul Gulati Breaks Down After Shock Exit; Ranveer Brar and Abhishek Malhan Also Eliminated

The Traitors India Season 2 is becoming increasingly unpredictable as the contestants navigate secret alliances, calculated betrayals and high-stakes eliminations. With Karan Johar back as host, the Prime Video reality series has already delivered several unexpected exits and dramatic twists.

Set against the imposing backdrop of Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, the second season began streaming on Prime Video on August 13, with the latest developments putting several prominent contestants out of the competition.

Among the biggest recent exits are Ranveer Brar, Abhishek Malhan and Parul Gulati, while other contestants have also been eliminated as the battle between the Innocents and Traitors intensifies.

Parul Gulati gets emotional after elimination

Parul Gulati’s exit proved particularly emotional.

Throughout her time in the game, Parul had been keeping a close watch on Krystle D’Souza, repeatedly questioning whether she could be hiding her true identity.

Their rivalry eventually became central to a Circle of Shaq, where the contestants were forced to decide who they believed was working against them.

The vote ended in a tie. However, Aaditya Kulshreshth, popularly known as Kullu, changed his vote to Parul, ultimately sending her out of the competition while Krystle survived.

Parul became emotional while reflecting on her elimination.

“I am not crying because they voted me out. I am crying because you can’t trust anybody clearly. I genuinely thought I was playing a very good game,” she said during her exit.

Her reaction highlighted one of the central challenges of The Traitors: even contestants who believe they have formed strong relationships can become targets when suspicion takes over the game.

Ranveer Brar’s unexpected exit

Celebrity chef Ranveer Brar was another major casualty of the season.

His elimination came during a card-based challenge in which contestants faced the possibility of being marked for elimination. Ranveer’s name appeared under a noose alongside other contestants.

The situation took a decisive turn when he ended up with both death cards, bringing his journey in the competition to an abrupt end.

His departure added another high-profile name to an increasingly unpredictable elimination list.

Abhishek Malhan becomes a target

Content creator and reality-show personality Abhishek Malhan, also known as Fukra Insaan, had emerged as one of the contestants increasingly focused on identifying the hidden Traitors.

His confidence in his deductions eventually made him a threat.

The Traitors chose to eliminate him, but his departure came with a significant revelation: Abhishek’s suspicions were not entirely misplaced.

During his exit interview, he correctly identified Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu) and Shahneel Gill as two contestants he believed were secretly working as Traitors.

His elimination therefore demonstrated just how close some of the Innocents can come to exposing the secret players before becoming targets themselves.

Munawar Faruqui was an early shock exit

One of the season’s earliest surprises was the elimination of Munawar Faruqui.

The comedian had suspected Mallika Sherawat of being a Traitor and openly expressed his doubts during the Circle of Shaq.

However, his accusations did not gain enough support. Instead, Munawar himself became the target and received the most votes.

Following his elimination, he reflected on the possibility of being targeted.

“I had expected this to happen to me. I knew I would have to face it. This often happens to me. It is not the first time that I have been targeted. Call me a soft target or someone too good to be there,” Munawar said.

His early departure was one of the first indications that openly expressing suspicions can be just as dangerous as keeping them hidden.

Dalip Tahil makes a surprise comeback

Veteran actor Dalip Tahil initially appeared to be the first contestant to leave the competition after the opening cage challenge.

However, his situation was different from a conventional elimination.

Because Tahil had not been banished during the Circle of Shaq and had not been murdered by the Traitors, he remained eligible to return.

He subsequently made his way back into the competition as a wildcard contestant in Episode 4, adding another unexpected twist to the season.

More contestants have already left

The elimination drama has extended beyond the latest departures.

Karan Singh Magic and Soundous Moufakir have also exited the competition, while Harman Singha was exposed as a Traitor and subsequently banished by the other contestants.

With the identities of the hidden Traitors becoming increasingly difficult to conceal, the remaining contestants face an increasingly complicated game.

Every alliance can become a liability, while every accusation can potentially make an Innocent contestant the next target.

The Traitors India is based on the internationally successful reality format of the same name.

The cast consists of 21 celebrity contestants, who compete for a cash prize while attempting to identify the contestants secretly designated as Traitors.
