Playing with remarkable confidence, Sooryavanshi attacked relentlessly during the powerplay. He reached his half-century in just 16 balls, registering one of the fastest fifties in IPL history and the quickest of the 2026 season so far.

This knock places Vaibhav among the fastest fifty-makers in IPL history, with only a handful of players achieving the milestone in fewer deliveries. Interestingly, his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal still holds the record for the fastest IPL fifty, achieved in 12 balls in 2023.
