Radhika Ambani, known for her impeccable love for ethnic wear, recently turned heads in a handcrafted resham ghagra ensemble by couturiers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Her off-white ghagra is from their “Shola” collection, meticulously embroidered with silk threads and embellished with crystals and sequins. The outfit pays homage to traditional Lucknow craftsmanship, paired with a classic chikankari dupatta featuring delicate crystal borders.
Styled by Esther Pinto, Radhika complemented the ensemble with an emerald, pearl, and diamond necklace, along with matching earrings, a maang tikka, and a kaan chain. She opted for soft, dewy makeup and a small green bindi, allowing the intricate details of her attire and jewellery to shine. The necklace, a personal favourite, had first been worn by her shortly after her wedding.
Radhika’s love for Indian craftsmanship has been evident throughout her public appearances. During her wedding to Anant Ambani, she donned a red-and-white panetar ghagra by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, honoring her Gujarati heritage. The outfit featured intricate floral motifs, sequins, and precious stones, paired with a dupatta showcasing delicate jaali patterns and cutwork.
Her passion for promoting local crafts mirrors that of her mother-in-law, Nita Ambani. In the past, Radhika has also showcased a pink tissue outfit with meticulous Marodi hand embroidery and authentic Tamba Tikki. One of her most remarkable looks was a hand-painted lehenga by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla in collaboration with artist Jayasri Burman, which took a month of 15–16 hour painting sessions daily to complete.
