Veteran actor Pradeep Rawat, whose commanding screen presence made him one of Indian cinema’s most recognizable character actors, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, following a battle with cancer. He was 74.
Rawat breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a cancer hospital in Bhiwandi after initially receiving medical care at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He is survived by his wife and son, Vikramaditya.
