Niharika Chouksey Opens Up About Her Dreamy Bridal Look in ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’

Television actress Niharika Chouksey is receiving widespread appreciation for her stunning bridal appearance in the show Tumm Se Tumm Tak. Draped in a traditional red saree paired with layered jewellery, the actress has become the center of attention among fans, with social media flooded with screenshots and edits from the wedding sequence.

Speaking exclusively to IndyaStory, Niharika shared her emotional reaction after seeing herself fully dressed as a bride for the first time.

“Honestly, I was just staring at myself for a few seconds because the look felt so surreal and dreamy. The red saree, the traditional jewellery, the floral varmala — everything together instantly made me feel like a real bride,” she said.

The actress described the moment as beautiful and emotional.

Wanted the Look to Feel Elegant and Authentic

Niharika revealed that she was actively involved in shaping the final bridal styling for the sequence. According to her, the team wanted the overall appearance to feel graceful, traditional, and emotionally connected to the storyline rather than overly glamorous.

“I was definitely involved in giving my inputs because I wanted the look to feel authentic and elegant,” she explained.

She praised the styling and creative teams for helping bring the vision to life.

“Together we made sure the bridal look matched the emotional mood of the sequence perfectly,” she added.

Jewellery Became Her Favourite Part

While every element of the outfit stood out on screen, Niharika admitted that the jewellery became her favourite aspect of the transformation.

“The layered necklaces, nath, maang tikka and bangles completed the entire bridal vibe beautifully,” she shared.

The actress also appreciated the subtle makeup styling used for the scenes.

“I loved how soft yet glowing the makeup looked on screen,” she said.

Bridal Styling Reflected Her Character’s Emotions

According to Niharika, the bridal look was carefully designed to match her character Anu’s emotional journey in the wedding sequence.

“The look was graceful, traditional and emotional, just like my character’s state of mind during the wedding track,” she explained.

The actress noted that the makers intentionally avoided flashy styling choices and focused more on innocence and emotional depth.

“Nothing was overly loud or dramatic. It had softness and innocence, which connected very well with the character,” she added.

Inspired by Traditional Indian Brides

Niharika said the styling inspiration mainly came from timeless Indian bridal aesthetics rather than temporary fashion trends.

“We wanted a classic and rooted bridal look instead of something overly trendy,” she shared.

According to the actress, the team aimed to create a timeless appearance that audiences would continue to admire even years later.

Bridal Transformation Took Nearly Four Hours

Creating the elaborate bridal look was also physically demanding. Niharika revealed that the entire transformation process took almost three to four hours every day before filming.

“It included hair, makeup, saree draping and jewellery. Bridal looks always take time because every detail matters,” she said.

The actress admitted that carrying heavy jewellery and traditional attire during long shoots became exhausting at times.

“The jewellery and outfit became difficult after a point, especially during emotional scenes. But once the camera starts rolling, you forget the discomfort because the look makes you feel special,” she shared.

Fans Loving the Traditional Bridal Vibe

Niharika also expressed happiness over the overwhelming response from viewers online.

“People have been sharing screenshots, edits and lovely messages saying they loved the traditional bridal vibe,” she concluded.
