Nia Sharma shares her Sawan ritual, reveals why she is visiting temples every Monday

Nia Sharma has given fans a glimpse into her spiritual side during Sawan, revealing that she plans to visit a temple on all four Mondays of Shravan after taking advice from her mother.

Television actor Nia Sharma recently shared a personal glimpse of her Sawan celebrations with fans on social media. The actor posted pictures from a temple visit and revealed that she intends to continue the ritual throughout the four Mondays of the Shravan month.

Nia said the practice was suggested by her mother, and she has decided to follow it.

Sharing pictures from the temple, she wrote, “Happy Sawan ki Shivratri Om namah shivaaya! Mummy ne bola hai sharavan ke 4 somvaar mandir jaana hai…… to janaaa hai.”

In the pictures, Nia can be seen carrying a puja thali and participating in the temple rituals. She also followed the customary practice of whispering a wish into Nandi’s ears.

Other photographs showed the actor offering prayers to the Shiva Parivaar.

While Nia has often shared glimpses of her professional life and candid moments with fans, the Sawan post offered a quieter look at a personal tradition she is following with her family.

Her decision to visit a temple every Monday during Shravan also highlights the influence of her mother’s advice in her personal routines.

She described the show as a place where she had laughed the most over the previous two years and said that she was leaving with memories she would continue to cherish.

“As the final episode of laughter chef airs tonight.., I’ll remember it as The place where i reached without a brain and laughed the most in the last 2 years and left a peace of my heart. Also a better cook now shall move on in life with the sweetest memories and a tear or two at times when I miss everyone… Goodbyeeeeee.”
