Nazriya Nazim has shared a humorous Instagram Story amid online discussion about the outfit she wore to a Dubai promotional event for Scene.
The actor also posted photographs in the same green off-shoulder ensemble. While some social media users criticised her clothing, others defended her personal choice and questioned the attention directed at her appearance.

Her Instagram Story read: “May your delulu become trululu and your problems go byelulu, so you can finally chillulu.”
The timing prompted some viewers to interpret it as a response to the criticism. However, Nazriya did not identify anyone or mention the outfit discussion, so that connection remains an interpretation rather than a confirmed explanation.
Colleagues support her photographs
Nazriya’s outfit photographs received affectionate comments from colleagues, including Naslen and director Jithu Madhavan, according to Cinema Express.
Supporters also challenged the scrutiny of her clothing. Their responses offered a counterpoint to comments that had shifted attention from the promotional event to her appearance.

Scene marks her return to Tamil cinema
The Dubai appearance formed part of promotions for Scene, directed by Jithu Madhavan and starring Suriya, Nazriya and Naslen.
The film is Nazriya’s first Tamil acting project since Thirumanam Enum Nikkah in 2014. Her Telugu film Ante Sundaraniki subsequently received a Tamil dubbed release, which is distinct from appearing in a new Tamil production.
At the event, Nazriya expressed happiness about the opportunity and thanked Madhavan for trusting her with the project. She also spoke warmly about Suriya’s influence on her interest in acting.
Scene is scheduled to reach cinemas on November 6, 2026, according to its exhibitor listing.
