Mrunal Thakur reacts to speculation about joining Allu Arjun and Atlee’s high-concept sci-fi action drama.

Actor Mrunal Thakur, known for her acclaimed performances in Sita Ramam and The Family Star, has addressed recent speculation linking her to a Telugu blockbuster with Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22xA6.

Mrunal, who is also gearing up for the action thriller Dacoit: A Love Story with Adivi Sesh and director Shaneil Deo, clarified the buzz in a recent conversation with HF City.


Mrunal Thakur Clarifies the Rumour

The speculation began after Mrunal visited Hyderabad to read a screenplay for a Hindi project, not a Telugu film. Fans and media outlets jumped to conclusions, linking her to the upcoming Allu Arjun-Atlee venture.

Speaking about the reports, Mrunal said:

“Really? It’s happening? Me?”

She admitted she was unaware of the development and asked the interviewer—and AR Ameen, the singer of her latest music video Bheegi Bheegi—to “pray for it to be real.”

The actor also expressed enthusiasm about the idea, saying:

“After watching Bheegi Bheegi, if I get a role in a futuristic project like the one Allu Arjun and Atlee are doing, I would love to be part of it. I am a big fan of Allu Arjun and Atlee sir.”


About the Allu Arjun–Atlee Project

As previously reported, the film is described as a high-concept science-fiction action drama, promising to push the envelope in terms of visual spectacle and storytelling. Official casting details are yet to be confirmed.


Mrunal Thakur’s Upcoming Projects

Besides the buzz around South cinema, Mrunal is focused on:
