Former Bigg Boss 19 contestant Malti Chahar continues to remain in the spotlight even after the show ended. Recently, the actress appeared in filmmaker Farah Khan’s vlog, where she spoke candidly about her personal life, early struggles in the entertainment industry, and the inspiration that shaped her career.
Malti revealed that she currently lives alone in a rented apartment in Mumbai and has grown to love the independence the space offers. Looking back, she recalled how difficult her initial years in the industry were and how she turned to modelling alongside acting to sustain herself.
“When I first came here, I did modelling along with acting because survival comes first,” Malti shared. “I used to look up to Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai. They also started with modelling and went on to become successful actors, which really inspired me.”
During the conversation, Malti also addressed rumours about an alleged conflict with Pranit More, clarifying her stance without dwelling too much on the controversy.
Opening up about her childhood, Malti spoke about her long-standing desire to step out into the world and pursue acting. She also revealed that she had an early interest in writing—something she kept hidden from her father at the time.

“When I was in 7th or 8th standard, I wrote a love song on a piece of paper. I wasn’t allowed to go out much, so I spent most of my time studying. I must have left the paper on the dressing table, and it somehow went missing.”
She added that her mother later found the note, and because of the poor handwriting, her father assumed it was written by someone else.
“I was being scolded, and even then I didn’t admit it was mine. My mom, however, always supported me.”
