Kimberly Williams-Paisley is keeping a special connection to Diane Keaton alive after purchasing one of the late actress’s distinctive hats and gloves at auction.
The Father of the Bride star recently shared photographs of herself wearing the pieces, along with a touching story about an unexpected encounter with a bald eagle that she said made her feel as though Keaton’s “energy” was nearby.
Williams-Paisley shared the tribute on Instagram on Friday, August 7, showing the vintage accessories alongside photographs and a video from the day.

The actress then described an unusual moment that happened while she and her friends were preparing to photograph the items.
According to Williams-Paisley, a large bald eagle landed in a nearby tree, remained there briefly and then flew away.
She described the sighting as extremely rare and said the timing made her feel that “Diane’s energy was around us.”
The Instagram carousel included Williams-Paisley posing beside a lake in a black-and-white outfit while wearing Keaton’s hat and gloves. A video of the bald eagle was also included, followed by an image of Keaton wearing the same hat.

The accessory also had a distinctive personal touch.
Williams-Paisley pointed out that the hat carried the words “NO MORE WAR”, along with a skull-and-crossbones design added by Keaton.
