Actor Himanshi Khurana has reportedly received an extortion call demanding ₹10 crore, prompting Punjab Police to enhance her security as a precautionary measure.
According to police sources, the call is believed to have originated from Chandigarh. The caller allegedly identified himself as Harry Boxer, claimed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and issued threats to the actor’s safety.
Authorities have not publicly confirmed the identity of the caller but stated that the matter is under investigation.
FIR to Be Registered, Says Mohali SSP
Confirming that information regarding the threat had been received, Mohali Senior Superintendent of Police Harmandeep Hans said that a First Information Report (FIR) would be registered.

Earlier, filmmaker Rohit Shetty and actor Ranveer Singh were reportedly named in an audio message by an individual claiming to be Hari Boxer. The message allegedly warned of consequences if demands were not met and referenced individuals associated with them.
In separate reports earlier this year, singer B Praak and his associate Dilnoor were also said to have received threats.
Authorities have not confirmed the authenticity of all such messages and continue to investigate the source and credibility of the claims.
