According to early estimates reported by Sacnilk, Hi earned approximately Rs 2.15 crore net in India on Day 2, compared with its reported opening-day collection of Rs 1.25 crore net.

The increase represents a growth of around 72% from its first-day earnings.

With its estimated Day 2 collection added to the opening-day numbers, Hi has reportedly reached Rs 3.40 crore net in India. Its India gross collection is estimated to stand at approximately Rs 3.94 crore.

The box-office trend is particularly notable because Nayanthara has had two theatrical releases in quick succession. While Hi reportedly gained momentum on its second day, her previous release, Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups, saw its daily earnings decline during its ongoing theatrical run.

The Geetu Mohandas directorial had begun its theatrical run with a substantially bigger opening. However, its subsequent box-office performance has reportedly seen fluctuations amid mixed reactions from sections of the audience to its story and bold content.
