Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Release Date Shifted To June 12

The upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde has officially postponed its theatrical release.

Originally scheduled to hit cinemas on June 5, 2026, the film will now arrive one week later on June 12, 2026. The shift comes amid changing release schedules in the industry and aims to avoid a major box office clash.

Release Shift Comes Amid Toxic’s Schedule Change

The adjustment in release date follows the revised schedule of Toxic, featuring Yash. The film is now preparing for a June 4 release, instead of its earlier planned debut in March.

Previously, Toxic was set for March 19, which would have put it in competition with Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh.

With the updated release calendar, the makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai chose to move their film by a week.

Tips Films Confirms the New Date

The film’s production banner Tips Films shared an official statement explaining the decision.

According to the statement, the movie had originally locked June 5 as its release date months earlier. However, after recent developments in the industry, the team felt it would be better to adjust the schedule.

The makers emphasised that supporting fellow filmmakers and avoiding unnecessary clashes helps maintain a healthier environment for the film industry.

Apart from the three lead actors, the romantic comedy also features a strong supporting cast including:

This project marks the fourth collaboration between David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan, following their previous hits:

Their previous partnerships have been known for delivering commercial entertainers, and expectations remain high for this upcoming rom-com.
