Daisy Shah Supports Palaash Muchhal After His Split With Smriti Mandhana

Daisy Shah has extended her support to Palaash Muchhal amid renewed public attention following his widely reported split with Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana.

Her remarks come at a time when Palaash is preparing for a new directorial venture featuring Shreyas Talpade and Daisy herself. The project marks his first major professional announcement since the abrupt cancellation of his wedding last year.

Daisy Shah Praises Palaash and His Family

In a recent interaction with Filmygyan, Daisy spoke about her association with Palaash and his family.

She shared that she first got to know him through his sister, singer Palak Muchhal, who had contributed a song to Jai Ho — Daisy’s Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan.

“Palaash is very good as a person. I have met him a couple of times. I’ve known Palak since she worked on Jai Ho, and I’ve attended gatherings at her home. That’s how I met Palaash and learned more about his work as a composer and director,” Daisy said.

She further described the Muchhal family as grounded and spiritually inclined.

“I’ve met his family — they are beautiful and very grounded people. They believe in God, and I think that’s a good quality. People who have faith tend to be positive,” she added.

Wedding Cancellation and Controversy

Palaash and Smriti were reportedly set to marry on November 25, 2025. However, the wedding was called off just a day before the ceremony. Initially, the cancellation was attributed to health concerns within the family.
