Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar recently shared his candid thoughts on the paparazzi culture in the film industry, explaining why he doesn’t mind being photographed in public. Speaking at a media interaction, he highlighted the practical side of fame and how celebrity images help photographers earn a living.

In an interview with India Today, Akshay said, “A photographer earns around Rs 3,500-4,000 for clicking my photo. If they earn that, what problem should I have? Why not just stand there in my sherwani and let them take the picture?”
He added, “By taking a photo, you help that person’s livelihood. There’s nothing wrong in that. If you’re stepping out with your children or wife, what privacy is really being compromised?” His remarks reflect a grounded and practical perspective on the ecosystem surrounding celebrity culture.

On the work front, Akshay is gearing up for an exciting lineup of projects. He will reunite with filmmaker Priyadarshan for the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, starring Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Tabu. Additionally, he has Welcome to the Jungle in the pipeline and is set to begin shooting for Golmaal 5 soon.
