Speaking exclusively, Adah shared that although her recent visit to Pune was brief, it left a lasting impression. However, her deeper connection with the city began much earlier — online.

“Even before The Kerala Story released, I shared a poem called Ek Hoti Idli on my Instagram. It became very popular,” she recalled. “People used to say that Marathi poem is bold.”

The unexpected response turned the poem into a conversation starter during film promotions. Adah noticed that the engagement was particularly strong in Pune. “We realised that it got so popular in Pune, and even children there liked it,” she said. “So I kept posting Marathi children’s poems on my Instagram.”

What began as a creative social media experiment soon evolved into something more meaningful. Adah says the warmth from Pune audiences helped her feel connected to the city on a personal level.

“So I have a huge connect with people in Pune,” she said, adding that the encouragement has inspired her to explore regional storytelling more seriously.

The actor has even made a promise to her Pune fans. “I’ve told people there that I will try my best in 2026 to do a Marathi film,” she revealed.
