Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan has opened up about his past fallout with actor-producer Dhanush, calling the broken relationship a personal loss and admitting he feels “ashamed” about how things unfolded.

During a recent interview while promoting his upcoming film Love Insurance Kompany, Vignesh Shivan reflected on his bond with Dhanush and how it changed over time.
He shared that he deeply respected Dhanush and even saw a “fatherly presence” in him. Speaking candidly, he said that losing that connection remains one of his biggest regrets.
“There must have been a mistake somewhere,” he noted, adding that Dhanush played an important role in his journey.
