Yash Calls Tara Sutaria a ‘Stunning Beauty’, Says She Looks Like a ‘Disney Queen’ in Toxic

Yash has praised his Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups co-star Tara Sutaria, describing her as a “stunning beauty” and saying her appearance in the film has the quality of a “Disney queen.”

The Kannada star is currently gearing up for the release of Toxic, Geetu Mohandas’ much-anticipated film that brings together a large ensemble cast. Tara plays an important role in the movie, which promises a distinctive visual world shaped around its fairy-tale-inspired title.

Speaking about Tara’s contribution to the film, Yash highlighted both her beauty and the authenticity she brings to her character. He also suggested that her appearance fits naturally into the unusual period-inspired world created for Toxic.

“Tara is like stunning beauty and somebody told me last time that – you know in your whole movie the character what she’s playing that looks authentic like a Disney Queen or a character from that era,” Yash said, as reported by Moneycontrol.

His comments underline the visual approach taken by the film, with its characters designed to belong to a world that is distinctly different from a conventional contemporary drama.

For Tara, the film has also been an unusual experience. The actor has previously spoken about how differently she has been presented in Toxic compared with her earlier work.

“I think it’s just been such a special, unique experience. I think that we’ve all been presented in such a different way. And one seldom gets to experience something like this,” Tara said.

She also compared the experience of making the film to stepping into a fairy tale or a dream. For Tara, the scale and creative vision of the project made it an uncommon opportunity within the Indian film industry.

“Just to come together in this way is very, very rare, I think, in our industry. And to have this experience, even though it does feel like a fairy tale, it kind of feels like this mad vision and this mad dream come true,” she added.

The film has received an A certificate from the censor board and has a reported runtime of 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Toxic is scheduled for release on August 26, 2026, in multiple languages.
