Namrata Shirodkar is a former actor and beauty queen who transitioned from a promising film career to becoming a key pillar of the Ghattamaneni family. While many today recognise her as the wife of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, Namrata had already carved a name for herself in Indian cinema before marriage.

Born and raised in Mumbai in a Maharashtrian family, she comes from a lineage of performers. She is the elder sister of actor Shilpa Shirodkar and the granddaughter of noted Marathi actress Meenakshi Shirodkar.
