Vaishnavi Chaitanya has found herself at the centre of an unexpected social-media discussion, this time over her age. The Telugu actress recently responded to online reports that claimed she was 32 years old and older than Rashmika Mandanna.

Rather than allowing the speculation to continue, Vaishnavi addressed the subject herself during an appearance on the Girl Formula By Chai Basket YouTube channel. When asked about reports concerning her age, the actress directly rejected the claim.

During the podcast, Vaishnavi was asked about reports suggesting that she was older than Rashmika Mandanna.

The actress responded clearly: “I am 25 guys, 25, not 32. If I were 32, I would say so.”

Vaishnavi also said that some biographical information about her available online, including details concerning her age and place of birth, was incorrect.

The clarification came after social-media posts circulated a birth date of January 4, 1994 for the actress. That date would place her ahead of Rashmika Mandanna, whose publicly listed birth date is April 5, 1996. However, Vaishnavi’s own statement indicates that the 1994 birth-date information being circulated is not accurate.

The age discussion gained additional attention because of Vaishnavi’s connection to the Deverakonda family.
