Raj Nidimoru has confirmed writing for the next chapter, but a premiere date and complete cast announcement remain awaited.
The Family Man season 4 is in development, with creator Raj Nidimoru confirming that work is underway on the continuation of Srikant Tiwari’s story. However, no official premiere date was found in the announcements and interviews reviewed as of October 30, 2026.
Speaking to Variety India, Nidimoru explained that the third and fourth seasons were conceived as a connected narrative. His update establishes that the story is continuing, rather than confirming when audiences will see it.
When could The Family Man season 4 release?
A release window remains uncertain.
In a June interview reported by ABP Live, Manoj Bajpayee suggested the second half of 2027 as a possibility, explicitly describing that timing as his own guess. He also said Raj & DK were occupied with Farzi before returning their attention to The Family Man.
In September, NDTV reported a further interview in which Bajpayee said discussions would precede script finalisation, cast preparations and scheduling. That update did not establish a filming start or release date.
Together, these accounts support treating any proposed release window cautiously. Writing, filming and post-production are separate stages, and progress on one does not confirm the completion of another.
Which streaming platform carries the series?
The Family Man is a Prime Video series created by Raj & DK under D2R Films. Its third season premiered on November 21, 2025.
Prime Video is therefore the expected home for the next instalment, although a season 4 launch announcement with a confirmed date remains awaited.
Who is expected to return?
Bajpayee’s comments about preparing for the next season point towards his return as Srikant Tiwari. A complete season 4 cast list, however, has not been established by the sources reviewed.
Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur and Vedant Sinha were part of the returning cast announced for season 3. Their involvement in that season should not automatically be treated as confirmation for season 4. The same distinction applies to Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur, who joined the third season as Srikant’s adversaries.
Claims about returning characters or new additions need confirmation from the makers, platform or actors.
What has been revealed about the story?
Nidimoru told Variety India that Srikant’s unfinished journey naturally carries into the fourth season. That provides a clearer indication of narrative continuity than speculative plot summaries circulating online.
Specific missions, locations, antagonists and character outcomes have not been detailed in that interview. For now, the strongest confirmed story update is that the creators are developing the next part of the narrative planned across seasons 3 and 4.
