Tejasswi Prakash Calls Fight With Elvish Yadav Her Lowest Moment in Playground 5: ‘Nobody Likes to Fight With Their Friends’

Tejasswi Prakash and Madhuja Ghoshal emerged as the winners of Playground 5, bringing the latest season of the gaming reality show to an end. Tejasswi, who led the Raging Centaurs, later spoke exclusively to Zoom about her journey on the show, her equation with fellow contestant and team leader Elvish Yadav, and Karan Kundrra’s surprise appearance during the finale.

While winning the trophy marked a memorable moment for the television actor, she also recalled one difficult part of her Playground 5 journey. Tejasswi admitted that her confrontation with Elvish was the lowest point for her because of their friendship outside the game.

Speaking about the most difficult moment of her Playground 5 experience, Tejasswi pointed to her argument with Elvish Yadav.

“I think lowest moment will be my fight with Elvish because we are such great friends. Nobody likes to fight with their friends,” she said.

The actor explained that the disagreement was influenced by the competitive and emotional environment of the reality show. According to Tejasswi, both she and Elvish are competitive personalities and can become highly emotional when they are deeply involved in a situation.

“I think both of us did go a little beyond. I think more than beyond the show and beyond the game, I feel we both are emotional people. Toh vo ek emotion-emotion mein nikal jaata hai na because we are so in the zone,” she said.

She added that their competitive nature also played a role.

“We are both competitive and we are both emotional as people,” Tejasswi said.

Despite the disagreement, her comments reflected the importance she places on her friendship with Elvish outside the competition.

Tejasswi Says She Was Genuinely Surprised by Karan Kundrra’s Finale Appearance

Another memorable moment from the Playground 5 finale was Karan Kundrra’s special appearance as the Agent of Chaos.

Tejasswi revealed that she genuinely had no idea her boyfriend would be attending the finale. She recalled seeing him earlier that morning and said there was nothing about his behaviour that suggested he was preparing to surprise her.

“Because main subah literally usey bye bolke gayi thi and vo bilkul bhi ready bhi nahi tha. He was just chilling in the room having his chai,” she recalled.

Tejasswi said she had even asked Karan to wish her luck before leaving for the finale.

“Jaate samay bhi I was like mera finale hai wish me luck at least and he was like all the best,” she said.

The surprise continued even after she reached the show’s set. Tejasswi said she did not notice Karan’s car and had no reason to suspect that he would appear during the finale.

Elvish Yadav Knew About Karan’s Surprise

According to Tejasswi, Karan managed to keep the surprise completely under wraps from her, although Elvish already knew about his planned appearance.

“I was sacchi mein surprised. Like a lot of people must think ki isey pata toh hoga but I genuinely did not know that he was coming,” she said.

She revealed that Elvish and Karan had already spoken about the finale appearance.

“In fact, Elvish knew that Karan was coming because Elvish aur Karan ki baat hogayi thi. But I didn’t know that Karan was coming,” Tejasswi added.

The revelation added another layer to the finale, particularly given the friendship between Tejasswi and Elvish and the latter’s connection with Karan.

For Tejasswi, lifting the Playground trophy was especially meaningful because she said she had been waiting for another major win.

Reflecting on the achievement, she said:

“Bohot time se miss kar rahi thi ki kuch jeetu. After four years I have won something again, so I really missed seeing trophy in my hand.”

She added that finally winning Playground 5 gave her an emotional sense of achievement.

“Finally, when I won Playground, I felt really happy to again have a trophy in my hand,” she said.

Tejasswi had previously won Bigg Boss 15, making her Playground 5 victory another reality-show milestone in her career.

Playground 5 Finale and Winning Teams

In the fifth season, Tejasswi led Raging Centaurs, while Elvish Yadav headed KO Krakens and Aarush Bhola led Power Phoenixes.

Tejasswi and Madhuja Ghoshal ultimately took the Playground 5 title.

The gaming reality show streamed on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon MX Player, combining competitive gaming with reality-show dynamics and team-based challenges.
