Tama Mirza Returns With Two New Films After ‘Daagi’ Success

One of the projects is ** Jal Juddho **, directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul, in which Tama will be paired with popular actor Mosharraf Karim. The second film, which is currently untitled, will feature her opposite Shariful Raj and is being directed by Hasan Morshed.

Tama Mirza Keeps New Film Details Under Wraps

Tama has confirmed that she has heard the stories of both upcoming films and responded positively to them. However, she is choosing not to reveal further details until the projects are formally announced.

“I have heard the stories of both films and liked them very much. Any actor would want to be associated with such stories and the directors’ ideas. However, it would not be right to say more before the official announcement,” Tama said.

Her comments suggest that the projects appealed to her not only because of their casts but also because of the stories and creative approaches of the directors.

‘Jal Juddho’ Pairs Tama With Mosharraf Karim

Director Golam Sohrab Dodul is preparing to begin work on Jal Juddho. According to reports, the casting process is nearing completion, while discussions between the filmmaker and production team are continuing.

The pairing of Tama Mirza and Mosharraf Karim is likely to be one of the film’s major attractions, although the filmmakers have yet to disclose detailed information about their characters or the storyline.

Shariful Raj Film to Begin Shooting Soon

Tama’s other upcoming project is being directed by Hasan Morshed and will co-star Shariful Raj.

Shooting for the film is reportedly expected to begin this month, although the portions involving Tama and Shariful Raj are scheduled to be filmed later.

Tama Mirza Still Waiting for ‘Dui Bandhu’

Alongside her feature-film commitments, Tama Mirza is also awaiting the release of ** Dui Bandhu **, a web series directed by Indian filmmaker Anjan Dutt.

The nine-day shoot took place in Kolkata and concluded in December 2023, but the series has yet to premiere. Tama has previously spoken positively about the experience and said she learned considerably while working with Dutt.

“I was a little nervous at first, but the experience was wonderful. He is not only a good director but also an extraordinary person. I learned a great deal while working with him,” the actress said.

The delayed release has left Tama eager to see the project finally reach audiences.

Tama Mirza’s recent career choices reflect a noticeable shift from the conventional heroine roles that defined much of her earlier work.
