Kolkata actress Susmita Chatterjee is making a strong impression with her Dhallywood debut in ‘Rakkhosh’, starring opposite Siam Ahmed.

“The character is very close to me. You may see one side of her at first, but another will emerge later. Acting through expressions, especially without dialogue, was a major challenge,”

Actress Praises Bangladesh’s Hospitality

Susmita’s first promotional visit to Bangladesh also left a strong impression on her personally.

She returned to Kolkata on Saturday morning, March 28, after the brief visit but said she plans to return for the film’s premiere.

Reflecting on her time in Dhaka, she praised the welcome she received and said she never felt as though she was in a foreign country.

“I never felt like I was in another country. It felt like being at home.”

Although her schedule was dominated by interviews and promotional commitments, she managed to sample some local food, including biryani.

She also indicated that she would like to spend more time exploring Bangladesh during a future visit.

The actress has also received encouragement from colleagues in Kolkata following the release of the ‘Rakkhosh’ trailer.
