Actress Sonam Bajwa recently opened up about a surprising real-life incident involving a fan who linked her to a broken engagement.
She spoke about the experience during her appearance on Famously Fit with Sophie, hosted by Sophie Choudry.
“Because of You, My Engagement Broke”
Recalling the moment, Sonam shared that a woman once approached her and made an unexpected revelation.
“There was this girl who came up to me and asked if I was Sonam Bajwa. When I said yes, she told me that because of me, her engagement broke. I didn’t know how to react—I was completely stunned,” she said.

The Reason Behind the Breakup
Sonam further revealed the reason behind the woman’s decision to call off her engagement.
According to her, the woman said her former partner was obsessed with Sonam Bajwa and wanted her to resemble the actress.
“He wanted me to look like you and have a body like you. It became too much for me, so I ended the engagement,” Sonam recalled.
The woman also shared that she is now in a healthier relationship where she feels valued and loved.
