“I have been asked over the years to lend my name to many things. I have said yes very rarely. Sohla is one of those very rare yeses,” Sonali Bendre said while speaking about the project.

The actor explained that her involvement comes from her belief in the film and her desire to help the story reach a larger audience. Rather than appearing in the film as an actor, Bendre is presenting Sohla because she connected with Bagbaan’s storytelling.

Her association also marks a new professional chapter, allowing her to support a story she believes deserves to find its audience.
