Shivani Gossain on Shweta Tiwari–Cezzane Khan Fallout: “It Was Ego Clashes”

Actor Shivani Gossain has revisited one of television’s most talked-about on-set equations, shedding light on the reported fallout between her Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-stars Shweta Tiwari and Cezzane Khan.

In a recent conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Shivani spoke about the strong bond the two actors initially shared and how their on-screen chemistry became a defining factor in the show’s enduring popularity.

According to her, the early phase of Kasautii Zindagii Kay was marked by genuine camaraderie among the cast. She recalled that most of the actors were relatively new at the time and driven by a shared passion to prove themselves, which naturally translated into strong performances.

Shivani noted that Shweta and Cezzane shared a close friendship during those years. While she clarified that their relationship was not romantic, she emphasized that their comfort level and connection were evident both on and off screen, contributing significantly to their believable portrayal of Prerna and Anurag.

However, she also addressed the widely discussed reports of a fallout between the two. According to Shivani, things changed gradually over time.

She explained that the differences did not exist at the beginning but developed after several years, suggesting that ego-related issues and disagreements may have played a role in creating distance between them.

Shivani added that such shifts are not uncommon in long-running projects, where evolving dynamics and professional pressures can sometimes lead to misunderstandings.
