Bollywood’s beloved “Marathi mulgi” Shraddha Kapoor is celebrating her 38th birthday today, and the special day coincides with the colourful festival of Holi this year.
Adding to the celebrations, her brother Siddhanth Kapoor shared a heartfelt birthday wish for his sister on social media. Posting a goofy picture with Shraddha, he captioned it, “Happy Birthday Sister Fishy,” delighting fans with the adorable sibling moment.
From Star Kid to Bollywood Star
Shraddha Kapoor, daughter of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, began her Bollywood journey with Teen Patti in 2010. Although the film did not perform well at the box office, her presence on screen drew attention.
Her real breakthrough came in 2013 with Aashiqui 2 opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. Playing the aspiring singer Aarohi, Shraddha connected deeply with audiences. The film’s music became hugely popular and turned her into one of Bollywood’s leading romantic heroines.
