Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has joined the growing list of admirers for Aryan Khan’s directorial debut The Bads of Bollywood, now streaming on Netflix. The politician took to social media to share his glowing review of the satirical series and even sent a heartfelt message to Shah Rukh Khan, expressing admiration for the superstar’s pride as a father.

Recovering from a bout of cold and cough, Tharoor revealed that he had cancelled his official commitments for two days. On the recommendation of his staff and sister Smita Tharoor, he decided to spend his time watching Aryan Khan’s new Netflix series. What followed, he said, was “one of the best things” he had ever watched on OTT.
In his detailed note on X (formerly Twitter), Tharoor wrote,
“I’ve been battling a cold & cough and cancelled engagements for two days. My staff and my sister, @smitatharoor, persuaded me to turn my eyes away from the computer towards a @NetflixIndia series, and it’s one of the best things I have ever treated myself to: absolute #OTT GOLD!”
