Recent reports suggest that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan could appear in the film in an extended cameo. Interestingly, the actor is reportedly expected to portray a police officer.

Reports Hint At A Police Officer Cameo

According to media reports, Shah Rukh Khan may share screen space with Rajinikanth in the action-comedy sequel. The cameo role is said to involve a police officer character, which would mark another law-enforcement portrayal by the actor after his role in Jawan.

Reports also indicate that the film’s remaining shoot primarily involves scenes featuring Shah Rukh Khan. The schedule for his portion is expected to last around seven to eight days and could be completed within the month.

However, the makers have not officially confirmed the cameo appearance yet.

Rajinikanth Returns As ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian

In Jailer 2, Rajinikanth will reprise his role as “Tiger” Muthuvel Pandian, the character he played in the blockbuster first installment.

Rajinikanth’s Upcoming Projects

Once Jailer 2 wraps production, Rajinikanth is reportedly planning to focus on completing work related to his autobiography, which is said to be in its final stages.

Following that, the superstar is expected to begin filming Thalaivar 173, which will be directed by Cibi Chakravarthy, known for Don.

Reports also suggest that Rajinikanth could reunite with Kamal Haasan for a project tentatively titled KHxRK Reunion, which may begin production later this year and target a 2027 festive release.
