Chennai, March 2026: Sivakarthikeyan fans are abuzz as news emerges that Bhagyashri Borse, known for Kingdom and Kaantha, may join the upcoming Seyon as the female lead. The film marks a collaboration with director Sivakumar Murugesan, famed for Thaai Kizhavi, and is co-produced by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International.
According to industry sources, Bhagyashri is in talks to join the project, which would be her next Tamil venture after Kaantha with Dulquer Salmaan. Several actors from Thaai Kizhavi are expected to reprise roles in Seyon, maintaining continuity in the cinematic universe.

The recently released teaser introduces multiple characters inside a police station, where a violent altercation unfolds during a festival. Sivakarthikeyan’s character emerges as a devout follower of Lord Murugan, taking on his attackers with formidable strength. The story also draws inspiration from folklore surrounding the deity Virumaandi, blending action, devotion, and cultural mythology.
