A court in Chandigarh has issued notices to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, the Being Human Foundation, and several other respondents in connection with a complaint filed by a local businessman over an alleged franchise-related dispute.
The matter came up before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMIC) court, which directed the respondents to submit their replies. The next hearing in the case has been scheduled for October 5.
What the Case Is About
The complaint was filed by Arun Gupta, a Chandigarh-based businessman, who alleges that he suffered financial losses after investing in a Being Human franchise business.
According to the complaint, Gupta invested approximately ₹3 crore in 2018 to establish a showroom in Manimajra, Chandigarh after entering into a business arrangement connected to the Being Human brand.

Allegations Made by the Complainant

Gupta has stated that he attempted to contact the concerned parties regarding the business but was unable to obtain a satisfactory response.
