Responding to Rathee’s post, Rupali Ganguly wrote that calling PM Modi “humiliated” was ironic given the international recognition and honours he has received from multiple countries.
She said PM Modi remains one of the most respected leaders globally and highlighted his long political journey, noting that he has continued winning democratic elections for more than 25 years, first as Chief Minister and later as Prime Minister.
Rupali further stated that millions of Indians admire and trust Narendra Modi, adding that India’s future and progress should be decided by its citizens.
“India Does Not Need a YouTuber Acting as Spokesperson”
In the latter part of her statement, Rupali Ganguly directly targeted Dhruv Rathee, saying India does not require “a YouTuber abroad” pretending to represent the country while building an online career around criticising it.
She accused Rathee of spreading negativity and fear about the very nation that contributed to his rise in popularity.
