Actor and producer Richa Chadha is stepping into the world of non-fiction storytelling with her latest project, Musafiri. Known for supporting unconventional and content-driven cinema, Richa is now exploring India’s culture and heritage through a documentary-style series that begins with one city close to her heart—Mumbai.
The first look of Musafiri has generated interest among fans, with the actor describing the project as her “love letter” to the city that has shaped both her personal and professional life.
What Is Musafiri?
Musafiri is a culture-focused non-fiction series that aims to showcase India’s diverse traditions, communities, history, and everyday stories through a fresh perspective.
The debut season will feature eight episodes, each exploring a different side of Mumbai beyond its familiar landmarks. Instead of functioning as a conventional travel series, Musafiri promises to focus on the city’s people, neighbourhoods, living heritage, food, art, and cultural identity.
