In a major casting development, Ranveer Singh has reportedly exited Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film Don 3 and committed to a new high-concept thriller titled Pralay. The third instalment of the iconic crime franchise was expected to go on floors by the end of January 2026, but the project now faces fresh uncertainty.
Earlier, actress Kiara Advani had also stepped away from the film due to her pregnancy, with reports later suggesting Kriti Sanon as her potential replacement.

Sources close to the development indicate that after the historic box-office success of Dhurandhar, Ranveer is becoming highly selective about his upcoming projects.
The actor reportedly wanted to avoid appearing in back-to-back gangster roles, which influenced his decision to walk away from Don 3 and prioritize Pralay, a film described as intense, emotional, and rooted in survival drama.
