Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has further expanded his real estate holdings with the purchase of nearly 25.7 acres of land in Maharashtra’s Pune district. The acquisition, valued at Rs 16.42 crore, comes just months after the actor made headlines for investing in a premium property development in Ayodhya.

According to property registration records, the transaction was registered on April 30, 2026, and involves four adjoining land parcels located in Pimpri village within Pune’s Mulshi taluka. The deal highlights Kapoor’s continued interest in long-term real estate investments beyond Mumbai’s traditional property market.

Details of the Pune Land Purchase

Documents accessed through property registration records indicate that the largest parcel in the transaction measures approximately 43,800 square metres and was acquired for Rs 7.07 crore.

A second parcel spanning 29,900 square metres was purchased for Rs 4.62 crore, while a third plot measuring 21,400 square metres was acquired for Rs 3.31 crore. The fourth parcel, covering around 8,900 square metres, was purchased for Rs 1.39 crore.

Combined, the four adjoining properties cover nearly 1,04,000 square metres, equivalent to approximately 25.7 acres. The transaction attracted a stamp duty payment of Rs 82.13 lakh.

Investment Follows Recent Ayodhya Purchase

The Pune acquisition follows another notable real estate investment made by Kapoor earlier this year. In May 2026, he reportedly purchased a premium plot within a large-scale development project in Ayodhya.

The property forms part of a planned 75-acre development situated along the Sarayu River. The project is expected to feature lifestyle amenities, recreational facilities and luxury hospitality offerings designed for high-end buyers and investors.

The investment reflected growing interest among celebrities and affluent investors in emerging real estate destinations connected to tourism, spirituality and lifestyle development.
