Actor and television personality Rakhi Sawant has reacted to the long-running rumours surrounding Tamil stars Vijay and Trisha Krishnan.

In a recent interview, Rakhi said she believes the two actors should get married and joked that she would happily attend their wedding celebrations.

Rakhi Sawant’s Comments on Vijay and Trisha

Speaking to Filmymantra Media, Rakhi Sawant shared her views on the popular Tamil cinema pair.

“I think they should get married. Mujhe lagta hai Vijay aur Trisha ko shaadi kar lene chahiye, aur hum aayenge mehendi mein,” she said.

(Translation: “I think Vijay and Trisha should get married, and we will attend their mehendi ceremony.”)

Her comments quickly gained attention online, especially among fans of the actors.

Rakhi Praises Vijay After Election Success

Rakhi also spoke about Vijay’s recent political success in Tamil Nadu and expressed admiration for the actor-turned-politician.

“He is the first Christian in Tamil Nadu to win so many seats. So, I personally like him, and it was my dream to do a song with Vijay, but I didn’t get that chance,” she said.

She further joked about joining Vijay’s political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK).

“Now I feel that I should join his party,” Rakhi added.

Vijay and Trisha’s Rumoured Relationship Timeline

Vijay and Trisha Krishnan remain one of Tamil cinema’s most popular on-screen pairings.

The duo worked together in several hit films including:

Following the release of Kuruvi, rumours about a possible off-screen relationship between the actors began circulating widely.

Speculation increased after the pair stopped appearing together in films for several years.

Reports at the time also claimed Vijay’s family wanted him to maintain distance from Trisha, though neither actor confirmed the rumours.

Both Vijay and Trisha consistently maintained that they were only friends.

Vijay reportedly plans to retain the Perambur assembly seat after winning from two constituencies in the Tamil Nadu elections.

However, reports also suggest Trisha is currently not very interested in joining active politics due to her lack of political background.
